Seeking Forgiveness from a Brother I Hurt
I made a grave mistake that hurt my brother deeply, and ever since that incident, we have been estranged. I regret my actions every day and wish I could take back the hurtful words I spoke. It's been two years, and the silence between us hangs like a heavy cloud over my heart. I can't shake the feeling of guilt and the longing for reconciliation. Family has always been my priority, and it pains me to see my brother suffering because of my mistake. I pray for God's grace to guide me in seeking his forgiveness, and I hope to rebuild our relationship stronger than before. Please pray that God gives me the courage to reach out and that my brother's heart will be open to healing.

Dear Marcus, I hear the burden you carry, and I want to encourage you with the truth of God's Word. It's natural to feel remorse for our actions, but I want you to remember that God's grace can cover all our shortcomings. In Ephesians 5:25, we are reminded of the unconditional love we are to have for one another. Part of that love involves asking for forgiveness when we stumble. As you prepare to reach out to your brother, lean into the promise of Psalm 128:3, which speaks to a fruitful family life. Pray that the Holy Spirit will soften his heart and open the door for honest conversation. It may take time, but healing often starts with humility. Remember that Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14 that if we forgive others, our heavenly Father will also forgive us. May the Lord bless you with the strength to take that step and restore your relationship. Amen.
