Seeking God’s Guidance for a Former Addict's Salvation
I’m Anthony, a 37-year-old who is homeless and trying to overcome addiction. After years of struggle, I want to be free from the chains that bind me. I believe that salvation is possible, but I feel so lost and alone. I'm asking for prayer that I can find a recovery program that also focuses on spiritual growth. I know that without a relationship with Christ, I will continue to face challenges. Please pray that I can receive the support I need to truly change my life and help others who are struggling too. I want my story to glorify God and show that change is possible through Him.

Dear Anthony, thank you for your heartfelt request. It takes great strength to seek help, and I commend you for your courage. God is capable of the impossible, and He wants to offer you a new life. As it says in 2 Peter 3:9, 'The Lord is not slack concerning his promise; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.' This promise includes you, and I encourage you to believe in the hope of transformation that comes from knowing Christ. Ephesians 2:8 reminds us that our salvation is through grace; it’s not something we earn but a gift from God. Seek out programs that incorporate faith, and know that there is a future filled with hope awaiting you. Let’s pray together: Heavenly Father, we lift Anthony to You. May he find the support he needs to overcome addiction and the peace that comes from knowing Your love. Amen.
