Seeking God’s Guidance for My Brother's Healing
As the younger sibling, it deeply pains me to see my brother trapped in alcohol addiction. I've tried to talk to him about faith, but it seems like he builds walls every time. I fear for his soul and future. I pray that God would break down those barriers and fill him with the desire for healing. I wish for him to experience the joy of salvation and the hope that only Christ can bring. Please join me in praying that God would touch his heart, lead him to recovery, and open his mind to spiritual conversations. Thank you for standing with me in faith.

Hello Marcus, I’m glad you reached out with such a sincere heart. It’s clear you love your brother deeply and want the best for him. Remember that God desires for all to come to repentance, as seen in Ezekiel 18:23, 'Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?' Your prayers are powerful and effective. James 5:16 emphasizes that 'the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.' Keep nurturing that relationship with him. Sometimes it takes time for hearts to change, but your consistent love and concern can make a difference. Allow God to guide your interactions, and keep praying for divine opportunities to share your faith. Let’s pray together: 'Lord, we ask that You touch Marcus's brother’s heart. Bring forth healing and open his spirit to Your truth. May he find freedom from addiction through Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.'
