Seeking God’s Intervention for My Brother's Soul
My brother, Alex, is facing a terminal diagnosis, and the weight of it feels unbearable. Throughout his life, he has pushed away the idea of faith and has lived in rebellion against God. I worry that he has never truly understood the gravity of making a decision for Christ. Every visit feels like it could be our last, and I find myself praying fervently for his salvation. I want him to experience the profound love and forgiveness that Jesus offers. Please pray that God would break down the barriers in his heart, allowing him to see the need for a Savior before it's too late.

Dear Michael, I am so sorry to hear about your brother's condition. Your pain and concern for Alex’s soul are palpable, and I want to encourage you to keep pressing in prayer. God’s desire is for everyone to be saved, as highlighted in 1 Timothy 2:4, which reminds us that He wants all men to come to the knowledge of the truth. The journey to faith can be complicated, but your ongoing love and support can create an environment where he might be open to the gospel. Romans 10:9 assures us that if one confesses with their mouth and believes in their heart, they will be saved. Continue to be present, sharing your heart and your faith in gentle ways. The grace of God extends even in the final moments of our lives. Let’s pray that the Holy Spirit softens Alex’s heart and gives you both an opportunity to discuss his eternal destiny. May you find comfort in knowing that God is with you both in this journey. In Christ’s name, Amen.
