Seeking Guidance for Our Daughter's Unplanned Journey
As a single mother, I recently discovered that my 16-year-old daughter is pregnant. I’m heartbroken and confused, unsure how to support her while also addressing the worries about her future. I feel so alone in this, and the fear of what lies ahead is overwhelming. I ask for prayers for wisdom in how to guide her through this pregnancy with grace and strength. I long to provide her with the support she needs, but I am unsure how to do so without losing my own way. Please pray for our family as we navigate this uncharted territory together. Amen.

Dear Lisa, thank you for sharing your heart during this difficult time. It's clear you care deeply for your daughter, and that love will be a guiding light. Remember that you are not alone; God is with you. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, 'Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.' As you pray, seek His peace to fill your heart. It’s important to have open discussions with your daughter, allowing her to express her feelings while you listen with love. Together, you can find a path of hope.
