Seeking Guidance in Decision to Stay or Leave
I never thought I would be facing this decision, but after my husband's affair, my heart feels torn. We’ve built a life together, and there are moments when I see the man I fell in love with, but the betrayal has left me questioning everything. I’m praying for guidance to discern the best path forward for both of us—whether that’s working toward reconciliation or recognizing that it might be healthier to part ways. Please pray that I find peace in this decision and that I am able to listen to God’s voice above my hurt and confusion.

Dear Emily, what you are facing is incredibly challenging, and it’s understandable to feel conflicted. God cares deeply about your pain and desires to lead you through it. 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end' (Jeremiah 29:11). While it's essential to seek reconciliation, it’s equally important to ensure that you are emotionally and spiritually healthy. Remember that God also calls us to love ourselves as He loves us. Spending time in prayer and seeking godly counsel can provide clarity. 'In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths' (Proverbs 3:6). I will lift you in prayer that you can clearly hear God’s voice during this difficult time, and may He grant you peace and wisdom as you navigate this journey.
