Seeking Hope Amidst Endless Dialysis Sessions
I’m David, and I’ve been on dialysis for over a year now, waiting for a kidney transplant. Some days feel heavier than others. The physical strain is tough, but the emotional weight is even harder to manage. I ask for prayers that I may find hope and motivation to keep pushing forward. I long for a healthy life again, to enjoy simple moments with my family. Please pray for my spirit and for the doctors and medical teams who care for me. I trust in God’s plan, but I need His strength to get through this trying time.
Pastor's Response
Pastor Michael Thompson
Senior Pastor, Bethel Church
Dear David, thank you for opening your heart to us during such a difficult season. It’s understandable to feel the weight of your situation, but I urge you to remember that our Lord cares deeply for you. The scripture in Philippians 4:6 encourages us to be anxious for nothing but to pray about everything. Bring your fears and concerns before Him, for He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes on the hope that lies ahead, for God promises to work everything for your good (Romans 8:28). I encourage you to find comfort in prayer and community, and trust that God will provide what you need in His perfect timing. Let us pray: Lord, we bring David before You. May he find hope and strength each day, and may his transplant come soon. In Your mighty name, we pray, Amen.
