Seeking Liberation for My Son from Deceptive Beliefs
My son has become involved with a group that teaches doctrines contrary to the Bible. It terrifies me because he was once a vibrant believer. Now, he refuses to listen to anything that doesn’t align with their teachings. I worry that he’ll miss out on the joy and freedom that comes from knowing Christ. I ask for prayers that he will recognize the truth and the light of the gospel before it’s too late. I want nothing more than to see him free and living for Jesus.

Dear David, thank you for your heartfelt request. It’s incredibly difficult to see your child walk away from the truth. Trust in God’s faithfulness; He has a plan for your son’s life. Remember what we read in Ephesians 2:9: 'Not of works, lest any man should boast.' Salvation is a gift that God desires for everyone, including your son. Pray for him daily, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal the lies he’s believing. Keep your heart open to conversations, as they can plant seeds of truth. Let us pray together for God to intervene in his life and draw him back to the truth.
