Seeking New Opportunities After Job Loss
My name is Lisa, and I'm a 34-year-old single mother living in a small town. Recently, I was laid off from my only job, which has left me feeling scared and overwhelmed. I have two young children to care for, and the thought of not being able to provide for them weighs heavily on my heart. I am praying for a new job opportunity that can support us and offer stability. I feel hopeless at times, but I am trying to hold on to my faith. Please pray that I can find the right position soon, one that meets our needs and allows me to use the skills I have.

Dear Lisa, I want you to know that you are not alone in this difficult time. It is understandable to feel anxious after losing a job, especially as a single mother. Remember that God has a plan for you, and He is walking with you through this valley. The Bible assures us in Psalm 37:4 that if we delight ourselves in the Lord, He will give us the desires of our heart. Trust that He knows your needs and will provide. In Proverbs 10:22, we read, 'The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.' Look for opportunities around you, and do not hesitate to reach out to your network for support. I encourage you to pray for wisdom in your job search, as James 1:5 tells us to ask God for it. Let’s pray together: Lord, please provide Lisa with strength and guidance as she searches for new employment. Amen.
