Seeking Peace After My Spouse's Stroke
Life has changed so much since my spouse had a stroke. As I navigate this new reality, I find that the emotional toll is just as heavy as the physical demands of caregiving. Each day, I struggle with anxiety, fearing the worst and feeling lost in a sea of responsibilities. I am praying for peace—both for my spouse as they recover and for myself as I walk alongside them in this journey. I ask for prayers for comfort and emotional healing as we adapt to this new phase of our lives.

Dear Emily, it’s so important that you’ve reached out for prayer during this tumultuous time. The feelings of anxiety and fear are valid, and God wants to meet you in those moments. Philippians 4:6 encourages us not to be anxious but to present our requests to God. He is a source of comfort and peace in the midst of storms. Allow your heart to rest in His promises. Know that you are not alone in this, and there are resources and loved ones who can support you both. Let’s pray together: Heavenly Father, grant Emily the peace that surpasses all understanding as she cares for her spouse. Heal them and help them find comfort in You. In Jesus' name, amen.
