Seeking Peace for My Neighbor in Turmoil
My neighbor, Raj, who practices Hinduism, is facing tremendous turmoil after losing his job suddenly. This has affected him greatly, leading to anxiety and despair. I feel compelled to pray for him and his family, hoping that they find peace amidst this storm. I want to extend my hand in friendship, but I am unsure how to approach him without overstepping boundaries. I ask for prayers that God will guide me on how to support Raj and that he may experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). I also hope that through this, he can open his heart to the message of Christ’s love and salvation.

Dear John, thank you for your willingness to support Raj during such a challenging time. Your heart for him is evident, and God will use your kindness to bring hope. Remember, as you reach out, you are extending the love of Christ. In Ephesians 2:8, we are reminded that we are saved by grace through faith, a gift from God. This grace is also available to Raj. Encourage him that God has a plan for his life, even in this difficult season (Jeremiah 29:11). Your prayers are powerful; God hears them and works through them. Continue to pray for Raj’s peace and an opportunity to share your faith. I will join you in prayer that he feels God’s presence and comfort. May God bless your efforts and bring healing to Raj's heart and situation.
