Seeking Peace in Family Skepticism of My Faith
I'm Ashok, a 30-year-old Indian man in prison, and I’ve recently found Jesus. I’m filled with hope and joy, but my family back home is very skeptical. They believe that my faith is a way of avoiding my responsibilities. I often feel torn between my new life and their expectations. My brother is particularly dismissive, which hurts deeply. I want to be a testament to God's love and redemption, but I need prayer that my family will see the truth. Please pray for my family to be open to understanding my faith and for me to remain steadfast.

Dear Ashok, your journey is inspiring, and I can feel the weight of your longing for your family’s acceptance. Skepticism often stems from worry or misunderstanding. In times like these, I encourage you to lean into God's promises. In 2 Peter 3:9, we are reminded that God is patient and desires all to come to repentance. Your family may not yet see the truth, but trust that every seed of faith you plant through your actions and prayers can lead to growth. Jesus came so that we might have life more abundantly, as stated in John 10:10, and this new life can shine brightly even in the darkest of places. Your transformation is a testament to what God can do, and it’s crucial to remain steadfast during this time. Pray for your brother and family, and be patient; God is working. Let’s pray: Lord, I ask that You touch Ashok’s family and open their hearts to understand his faith journey. Amen.
