Seeking Peace in Financial Stability
Hi, I’m Linda, a college student, and I’m feeling overwhelmed with anxiety about my finances. Although my parents help with tuition, I still worry about my future and whether I will have enough money to support myself once I graduate. Even small expenses make me anxious, and I have trouble concentrating on my studies. I want to put my trust in God but often feel weighed down by these fears. Please pray that I can find peace and assurance in His provision as I navigate my financial responsibilities.

Dear Linda, thank you for sharing your concerns. It’s completely normal to feel anxious about finances, especially as you prepare for the future. Remember that God has a plan for you, and He is aware of your needs. In Philippians 4:6, we are encouraged to 'be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.' This is your opportunity to bring your worries before Him. Also, in 1 Peter 5:7, we are reminded to 'Cast all your care upon him; for he careth for you.' God is intimately aware of your situation and desires to help you. I want you to hold on to the promise in Isaiah 41:10, where God tells us, 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God.' Let’s pray: Lord, please grant Linda peace and clarity as she navigates her financial responsibilities, helping her to trust in You. Amen.
