Seeking Salvation for My Childhood Friend
My friend Sarah and I grew up together, sharing countless memories. However, over the years, our lives have taken very different paths, and she has drifted away from any faith. I know that she is struggling with her identity and purpose. I believe that only Jesus can fill the void she feels. I’ve recently felt a strong urge to reach out to her, but I’m not sure how to approach this sensitive topic. I ask for your prayers that God would open a door for me to share the Gospel with her. Please pray that she would be receptive and that the Holy Spirit would work in her heart, guiding her towards the truth and salvation.

Dear Jessica, thank you for sharing your heart for Sarah. It is evident that your love for her and concern for her spiritual well-being are immense. It is a powerful thing to have a friend who has known you for so long, and it’s a blessing that you desire to introduce her to Jesus. Romans 10:9 reassures us that 'if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.' Your role is to share this good news with her when the opportunity arises. Remember that the Lord is already working in her life, even if it seems otherwise. You are right to seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and always approach her in love and gentleness (Galatians 6:1). The Lord delights in saving and restoring hearts, as we read in Luke 15:7, 'I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth.' Let us pray: Lord God, I ask that You prepare Sarah’s heart for the Gospel and give Jessica the boldness to speak life into her friend. Amen.
