Seeking Stability During Uncertain Times
Hi, I’m Raj. I’ve been working various night shifts in the hospitality industry since the pandemic, and the instability of the work is making me anxious. With each passing week, I’m worried about losing my job, which puts even more pressure on my ability to support my family. I feel like I’m in a constant state of exhaustion and fear. My wife and kids depend on me, and I fear I’m letting them down. I really need prayers for stability in my work situation and peace in my heart. I want to trust that God has a plan for us during these uncertain times and hope for a better future.

Dear Raj, I can feel the weight of your worries as you navigate these uncertain times, and I want you to know that you are not alone in this. The Lord sees your hard work and your heart for your family. In moments of fear and anxiety about instability, I encourage you to hold onto 1 Peter 5:7, 'Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.' Bring your worries to God, and trust that He cares deeply for you and your family. As you seek stability, remember Deuteronomy 8:18 which tells us, 'But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.' Lean into His power and provision. While it may feel as though everything is uncertain, God’s promises are steadfast. Seek His will for your life as you navigate this season, and He will guide your steps. I will pray for you, Raj, asking God to bring peace to your heart and stability to your work situation. May you rest in His assurance.
