Seeking Strength in a Custody Crisis
I’m reaching out for prayer in the midst of a custody battle that feels endless. Each day brings new challenges and heartache, and I’m finding it hard to cope with the emotional toll it’s taking on me and my children. I worry constantly about how this is affecting their sense of security and wellbeing. I try to be strong for them, but there are days when the burden feels too heavy to carry. I pray for strength to persevere, wisdom to make the right decisions, and most importantly, for peace to be restored in our lives. Please pray that God will intervene and bring about a resolution that prioritizes the happiness and stability of my children.

Dear James, thank you for sharing your heart during this challenging time. It takes great courage to seek help, and I want you to know that God sees your struggle. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalms 46:1). As you navigate this difficult situation, I encourage you to lean into prayer and Scripture for comfort and guidance. Remember that love is patient and kind (1 Corinthians 13:4); these qualities can guide your interactions as you work through this battle. Also, hold on to the promise in Joel 2:25; God can restore the years that the locust has eaten, and that includes the years of joy with your children. Pray for God's peace to surround you and your children, and for His wisdom to guide your decisions. I will be lifting you up in my prayers, asking God to fortify your spirit and grant you the peace that only He can provide.
