Seeking Support in a Hostile Workplace
Hi, I’m Jamal, a 32-year-old African American man, and I'm reaching out for prayer. The work environment I’m in feels increasingly hostile due to racial tensions, and it’s taking a toll on my mental health. I’ve experienced subtle yet persistent forms of discrimination, like being excluded from important meetings and having my ideas dismissed. It often feels like there is no recourse for me, and I’m left feeling powerless and frustrated. I need prayer for emotional healing, resilience to keep moving forward, and guidance on how to address this situation without losing my job. I want to handle it in a way that honors God and reflects my faith.

Grief and Healing Ministry
Dear Jamal, thank you for opening up about your struggles. It's painful to hear how you are being treated at work, but remember that God is your refuge in times of distress. Psalm 34:18 says, 'The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.' God sees your heart and your pain. While you may feel powerless, I encourage you to find strength through prayer and seek God's guidance, as He promises wisdom to those who ask (James 1:5). Also, trust in the promise of Romans 8:28, that all things work together for good to them that love God. He can use your situation for a greater purpose. I will pray for your healing and that you receive the courage to address these challenges with grace. May you feel God's presence as you take each step forward. Amen.
