Seeking True Jesus After Disillusionment
My name is Emily, and I'm a 22-year-old college student. After experiencing a disillusioning situation at my church, I’ve found it hard to trust anyone in the faith community. I long to find the true Jesus who loves and accepts me, despite the hurt I have felt. My heart feels heavy, and I’m struggling to connect with God in a personal way. Please pray for me to heal and to encounter Jesus in a transformative way, allowing me to rebuild my faith foundation.

Dear Emily, thank you for sharing your journey with us. It can be incredibly difficult to navigate faith when trust has been broken within a community. Please remember that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He knows your heart and desires to meet you where you are. In Luke 15:7, we are reminded that there is great joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, showing us how precious you are to Him. I encourage you to seek Jesus with an open heart and allow Him to bring healing into your life. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Let’s pray: Lord, I lift Emily to You and ask that she encounters Your love deeply. Heal her wounds and restore her faith in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
