Seeking Wisdom for Family-Triggered Strain
Lord, I come to You feeling overwhelmed by the strain my marriage is experiencing due to interference from my in-laws. Their constant involvement causes misunderstandings and creates distance between my spouse and me. I seek Your wisdom as we navigate these challenges together. Help us to approach our in-laws with love and kindness but also to clearly define our boundaries. I pray for a fresh outpouring of love and understanding in our relationship, so we can grow stronger and not be swayed by external opinions. I trust that You have a plan for us and will guide us through this together. In Your name, Amen.

Dear Daniel, thank you for reaching out and sharing your struggles regarding the influence of in-laws in your marriage. This is a common challenge, and I want to remind you that it's important to prioritize your union. 'Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it' (Ephesians 5:25). This love is foundational in overcoming external pressures. Take the time to communicate openly with your spouse about how both of you want to handle family involvement. 'Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things' (1 Corinthians 13:7) is a reminder that love enables us to face life's challenges together.
