Seeking Wisdom in Understanding Scripture
Heavenly Father, I often find it challenging to interpret the Bible in a way that aligns with my identity as a gay believer. I want to grow in my understanding of Your Word and how it relates to my life. Please grant me wisdom as I read and study the scriptures. Help me discern what applies to me and understand Your heart behind the words. I yearn to deepen my faith while embracing my true self. Surround me with resources and people who can guide me in this journey of faith and learning. Thank you for Your guidance and love.

Dear Taylor, I admire your desire to deepen your understanding of God's Word. Seeking wisdom is a noble pursuit, and I encourage you to lean into it. As James 1:5 reminds us, if we seek God’s wisdom sincerely, He will provide it. Remember, it’s okay to question and seek; faith isn’t about having all the answers but about growing in relationship with Christ. In 2 Corinthians 5:7, we are reminded that we walk by faith, not by sight. Take your time to study and engage with scripture, and look for supportive resources that affirm your journey. Let’s pray: Lord, grant Taylor wisdom and clarity as they seek to understand Your Word in light of their identity, bringing peace to their heart. Amen.
