Serving Christ Alone in My Unequally Yoked Marriage
For the past 12 years, I have been going to church alone while my spouse remains uninterested in faith. I feel a deep loneliness even in my community of believers. It’s disheartening to share my faith with him, knowing he doesn’t believe. I've tried to involve him in church activities, but he avoids them. I feel torn between my commitments to God and my love for my spouse. I often wonder if I should stop attending church to maintain peace, but deep down, I know my faith is vital to my life. I pray for clarity and for my spouse to come to know Christ. Please pray for us as I navigate this challenging situation.

Dear Sophia, your struggle is one many face in unequally yoked marriages. It’s commendable that you desire to honor God while still loving your spouse. The Bible encourages us to be steadfast in our faith; God is faithful and can work miracles when we remain obedient to Him (1 Corinthians 15:58). Remember, you are not alone in this journey; the Lord sees your heartache and longs to comfort you (Matthew 11:28-30). Hold fast to your faith and pray diligently for your spouse. God can soften hearts in ways we cannot foresee. Let us pray: Lord, strengthen Sophia as she continues to walk in faith. May her spouse feel the pull of Your love and grace. Amen.
