Sister's Family on the Brink of Separation
I feel lost as I watch my sister and her husband on the verge of separation. They used to be the couple everyone admired, but lately, it seems like their love has turned into resentment and pain. They argue constantly, and it breaks my heart to see my sister so defeated. I want to help, but I worry I might make things worse. I feel like I should do something to bring them back together, but I don’t know what. I pray for God to intervene, to heal their hearts, and to revive their love. Please pray for their family to find peace and for them to remember the vows they took on their wedding day.

Dear Sophia, I want you to know that your desire to help your sister and her husband speaks volumes about your love for them. Watching someone we care for struggle in their marriage can leave us feeling helpless and overwhelmed. Yet, remember that God is indeed a God of restoration, as seen in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, where love is defined as patient and kind. Your sister and her husband may need time to reconnect and remember their love for each other. Encourage them to seek a counselor or pastor who can guide them through this turbulent time. As it says in Hebrews 13:4, 'Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled,' highlighting the sacredness of their commitment. Let them know that God desires to heal their marriage and restore their love. I will be praying for peace in their home and for the rekindling of love between them. Trust that God is at work, even when things seem bleak. Amen.
