Strength for My Sister’s Recovery Journey
I’m Jessica, and I’m writing to ask for prayers for my sister, Laura, who was in a serious car accident last month. She has sustained several injuries and is facing a long and hard recovery. It breaks my heart to see her in pain and feeling discouraged about the future. There are days she feels hopeless and struggles to find the will to continue her physical therapy. I am praying for her healing and for the strength to persevere. Please pray that she will feel God’s presence and love during this tough journey and that she will find comfort in His promises. In times like these, we can hold onto the promise that 'the Lord healeth thee' as seen in Exodus 15:26. Laura’s path to recovery may take time, but remember that God walks with us in every trial. Encourage her to rely on God’s strength, especially when her own feels insufficient. The assurance found in Philippians 4:7 reminds us that God’s peace can envelop her heart and mind as she focuses on Him. And as Romans 8:28 states, God is weaving everything in her life together for His purpose and glory. Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, we lift Laura into Your compassionate hands, asking for healing and strength to fill her. Be her comfort and guide during this arduous journey. Amen.
