Struggling to Align My Identity with Faith
My name is Alex, and I’ve been wrestling with my identity as a gay man and my desire to follow Jesus. I grew up in a church that often taught that being gay is wrong, and now I find myself torn between my faith and who I am. I genuinely love God and want to serve Him, but I question how to reconcile my sexuality with my beliefs. This internal conflict leaves me feeling isolated and questioning if I can truly belong in the community of faith. I ask for prayers for wisdom and clarity as I seek to understand God’s love and purpose for my life.
