Struggling to Embrace Change After Relocation
I’m Grace, and I recently relocated to a different state because of my husband’s job. While I am happy for my husband, I can’t shake off the fear and anxiety that cloud my thoughts. Everything feels unfamiliar, and it’s hard to adjust. I miss my old life, my friends, and the way things used to be. I find myself questioning if I’ll ever feel settled. I genuinely ask for prayers to help me cope with this transition and to find peace in my heart.

Dear Grace, thank you for sharing your heart during this challenging time. Relocation can bring about a whirlwind of emotions, and it’s completely understandable to feel uneasy about such significant changes. Remember, God sees your struggle and wants to provide comfort. In John 14:27, Jesus promises us, 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.' Trust in His promise of peace as you navigate this new chapter. Embrace this opportunity to explore and discover new joys—God is with you, guiding each step. Also, hold onto the assurance found in 1 Peter 5:7, which calls us to 'Cast all your care upon him; for he careth for you.' I pray you find strength and courage in this time of uncertainty and that you feel His guiding hand. Heavenly Father, I lift Grace up to You in her time of transition. Surround her with Your peace and help her to flourish in this new journey. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
