Struggling to Find Hope Amid Financial Trouble
Hello Pastor Elizabeth, I'm feeling lost and hopeless. My job in ministry doesn’t pay enough to support my family, and we are falling behind on our rent. I try to keep faith, but the weight of financial insecurity is crushing me. I feel like I’m failing my family and my calling. I know God loves us, but I’m having a hard time seeing how to move forward. I’m reaching out for prayer not just for financial help but for hope, direction, and renewed strength. I want to be able to serve with joy again.

Dear Kevin, I want to remind you that even in the darkest moments, there is always hope in Christ. Your feelings of hopelessness are valid, yet God’s promises remain true. In Psalm 34:18, we are reminded that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and I believe He is with you during this difficult time. It’s understandable to feel overwhelmed, but remember that God has a purpose for your life and your work in ministry, as taught in Jeremiah 29:11—He has plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I encourage you to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). I will pray for renewed hope in your heart, financial provision, and the joy that comes from serving Him. Trust that He will make a way.
