Struggling to Find My Place in a New Career
My name is Amina, and I am reaching out for prayer as I navigate a challenging situation. I recently moved to the U.S. from Nigeria, where I spent years in a successful teaching career. However, my foreign credentials are not recognized here, and I am left feeling lost and discouraged. I've been applying for jobs but facing constant rejection. The thought of starting over is daunting, and I often feel my self-worth crumbling. I know God has a plan for me, but I’m struggling to trust in it. Please pray that I find clarity in my career path and the right opportunities to use my skills and talents. I ask for patience and faith as I embark on this new journey, trusting that God will guide me to where I am meant to be.

Dear Amina, your heart is heavy, and I can sense the weight of your struggles. I want to remind you of God's promise in Jeremiah 29:11, which states, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' Starting over is never easy, especially when you feel your past achievements are not valued. But remember that God equips us for every journey; in Deuteronomy 8:18, it says, 'But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.' Your skills and experiences are valuable in His eyes, and He will utilize them for His glory. I encourage you to seek Him with all your heart, as promised in Matthew 6:33, 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.' I will be praying for you to find peace and direction during this time. May you feel His guiding presence in your pursuit of a new career path.
