Struggling to Forgive My Ex-Partner's Infidelity
Heavenly Father, I feel so broken and betrayed after discovering my partner's infidelity. We shared dreams and built a life together, and now everything feels shattered. I’ve been trying to cope with this pain, but every thought of what they did brings me anger and heartache. I know I should forgive, but it's so hard to imagine doing that after what happened. I desire peace in my heart and the ability to move on. Please grant me the strength to let go of this hurt and work towards forgiveness, even when it feels impossible. I ask for your guidance and healing during this painful time. Amen.

Dear Jessica, I am so sorry for the pain you are experiencing. Betrayal, especially from someone we love, cuts deep and can leave us feeling lost and broken. Jesus knows your pain and offers healing. In Psalm 34:18, it says, 'The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.' He is close to you in this difficult moment. Forgiveness doesn’t mean you excuse their actions or forget the pain, but it allows you to release the bitterness that weighs you down. Remember, in 2 Corinthians 5:17, we are told that in Christ, we are made new. As you seek healing, spend time in prayer, asking God to transform your heart and fill you with His love. Allow His spirit to guide you in the process of forgiving, which can take time. Let me pray for you: Lord, please comfort Jessica during this time of heartbreak. Grant her the strength to forgive and heal, surrounding her with Your peace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
