Struggling to Make Ends Meet After Wage Theft
My name is Maria, and I am a single mother working two jobs to support my children. Recently, I discovered that my employer has been withholding my wages, and despite my efforts to seek legal help, I have found no one willing to take my case. I feel lost and hopeless, especially as bills pile up, and my kids need things for school. I have prayed and tried to trust God, but the weight of this financial burden feels heavy on my heart. Please pray for God’s intervention in this situation, that justice will be served, and for peace as I navigate this difficult time.

Dear Maria, thank you for sharing your heartfelt struggle with us. It’s understandable to feel overwhelmed when facing injustice, especially in such a critical area as providing for your children. Remember that God sees your pain and your efforts. In Deuteronomy 8:18, we are reminded, 'But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.' God has not forgotten you. He hears your cries and is your ultimate provider. It may feel dark now, but hold on to the promise in Psalms 34:18, 'The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.' I encourage you to continue seeking justice through the proper channels, but also to trust in God’s timing and provision. May He guide you to the right resources, whether through legal means or support from your church community. Let’s pray for divine favor and strength for you to endure this trial, knowing that God will provide what you need according to His riches in glory. God bless you.
