Struggling to Make Ends Meet in Ministry
As a 32-year-old youth pastor, I often find myself overwhelmed by the financial pressure of our ministry work. Despite my passion for guiding our youth, my salary barely covers the bills, leaving my family struggling to make ends meet. My wife and I have two young children, and it breaks my heart to see them go without basic needs. I pray for wisdom to manage these challenges and for God to provide a breakthrough. I trust in His promise to supply all our needs, but the weight of uncertainty is heavy. Please pray that we can find peace amid these financial burdens and that my calling in ministry will be recognized and valued.

Dear Ethan, I am so sorry to hear about the financial struggles you and your family are facing. It is heartbreaking when our calling and the financial support needed to fulfill it feel so far apart. Remember the promise in Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." God sees your dedication and service, and I believe He will provide what you need at the right time. It may be beneficial to seek advice from trusted mentors or financial advisors who can offer guidance and support. Also, as you continue to serve in your ministry, consider James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." God is with you in this struggle, Ethan; keep your heart open to His guidance. Let’s pray together that He will lead you to the right opportunities to increase your financial security while continuing to bless your ministry and family. Amen.
