I am a 35-year-old father of two, and I never imagined I would find myself in this situation. My wife’s affair has shattered the foundation of our family, and I’m now grappling with feelings of betrayal and despair. I want to forgive her and rebuild our marriage for the sake of our children, but I'm struggling to let go of the hurt. I feel a constant battle within me between love and pain. It’s important to acknowledge the pain while also holding on to hope. Remember, true love bears all things (1 Corinthians 13:4). I encourage both you and your wife to seek God’s grace in this challenging time. Proverbs 31:10 reminds us of the value of a virtuous partner, and although trust is difficult to regain, it is not impossible with God’s help. As you navigate this path, cling to the promise found in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good to them that love God.
