Struggling with Anger After Losing My Sister

I never thought I would have to face life without my sister, Mia. She died last week in a car accident, and the suddenness of it all has left me angry and confused. We had plans to travel together next month, and now I feel a mix of heartbreak and rage. I’m angry at the world, at the driver who caused it, and even at myself for not being able to protect her. I’m struggling to find any peace in this chaos. Please pray for me—pray that I can let go of this anger and find a way to honor her memory instead of being consumed by pain.

Dear Alex, I hear your pain and anger, and I want you to know that it’s okay to feel this way after such a tragic loss. Grief can bring out a whirlwind of emotions, including anger—anger at circumstances, at others, and even at ourselves. In this time of turmoil, I urge you to bring every feeling to God in prayer. He invites us to cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Remember that it’s okay to be honest with God about your struggles. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus calls us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened, promising to give us rest for our souls. As you navigate through these feelings, He can help you transform your anger into a desire to honor Mia's memory in meaningful ways. I will be praying for your heart to find healing, allowing God's love to replace your anger with peace. May He guide you and provide the comfort you need during this difficult time.
