Struggling with Financial Fairness at Work
As a single mother working two jobs, I am devastated to discover that I am being paid less than my male counterpart despite having the same qualifications and responsibilities. This situation has created financial stress, making it hard for me to provide for my children adequately. I am trying to remain positive and trust that God will make a way, but I often feel overwhelmed. I need prayer for clarity and courage to have a difficult conversation with my employer about this pay inequity. I want to be treated with fairness and respect in my workplace.

Dear Jennifer, thank you for sharing your burden with us. Your commitment to both your job and your children is commendable. It's disheartening to face inequality, especially when it affects your ability to provide for your family. God sees your hard work and dedication; remember Matthew 6:26, 'Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them...' He cares for you and your needs. Approach your employer with confidence, knowing that your work has value. 'And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord...' (Colossians 3:23). God is with you, and I pray for courage and clear communication as you stand for fairness. Trust in His provision, for He will not let you go without the support you need.
