Struggling with Loss of Financial Security and Identity
Hi, I’m Anita, and I’m reaching out because I am struggling to cope with the failure of my business. It was more than just finances for me; it was my identity, my dream, and I invested everything I had—my time, my effort, and my heart. Now, I feel like I’ve lost a part of myself. The guilt is overwhelming, especially as a single mother. I fear for my children's future and feel lost without direction. I need prayers for healing, strength, and to find my true identity outside of my failed business. Help me, please, to see God's plan for my life in this new and uncertain chapter.

Dear Anita, thank you for sharing your heart. It is completely natural to feel lost when something you poured your soul into comes to an end. Remember, your worth is not defined by your business but by the love God has for you. In 1 Timothy 6:6, we read that 'godliness with contentment is great gain.' As difficult as it may seem, it is important to find your identity and contentment in Christ rather than in worldly achievements. God has a purpose for your life beyond what you have experienced. Seek Him first, as it says in Matthew 6:33, and He will provide for your needs. I pray that you find healing and strength, and that you discover the next steps God has prepared for you and your children, filled with hope and promise.
