Supporting My Team After a Business Transition
As a leader, it breaks my heart to have to let go of my employees due to the downturn in business. These individuals are not just coworkers; they are my friends. I feel the weight of their struggles, and I worry about their families and futures. I desperately want to support them, but I feel powerless to change the situation. I’m asking for prayers for wisdom on how to best support my team during these uncertain times, and for strength to carry this burden without becoming overwhelmed myself.

Dear Rebecca, I feel the weight of your heart for your team during this challenging time. It’s clear that you care deeply for the well-being of those you lead. As you navigate this transition, remember Proverbs 22:29, which states, 'Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.' Your diligence and concern are admirable and show your leadership qualities. In times like these, God calls us to lean on Him for strength and guidance, as seen in Philippians 4:13, 'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.' Seek His wisdom in how best to support your employees, and trust that He will provide the resources and opportunities they need. Let’s lift this up in prayer: Lord, grant Rebecca the wisdom and strength to navigate these difficult waters, and comfort her team in their time of need. Amen.
