Thankful for a Family Reunion of Healing
My family was scattered and divided for so long. After years of misunderstandings and hurt feelings, we've finally come together for a reunion. I have prayed for this day for a while, asking God to help heal our past wounds and foster forgiveness among us. It brings both joy and apprehension to think about how much can change in someone's heart. I’m grateful for the opportunity to see my family again and ask for prayers that our time together brings about healing and renewed relationships. May God’s love guide our conversations and actions.

Dear Sonia, I am so encouraged to hear about your family reunion and the healing it represents! It is indeed a time of great thanksgiving. God is so faithful to us, as we can see in Psalm 103:1, which reminds us to bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits. Your desire for healing among your loved ones reflects the heart of God, who desires unity and reconciliation. In Ephesians 4:32, we are called to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave us. As you gather, invite His presence into that space. In Philippians 4:7, we are told that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds. Pray that His peace envelops your gathering and lays a foundation for open, loving communication. I will join you in prayer, asking for God to soften hearts and foster a spirit of forgiveness and unity. May this reunion be a powerful testimony of God's redemptive work in your lives.
