Thankful for Shelter During Job Transition
As I transition between jobs after being laid off, I felt lost and anxious about housing. Financial strain weighed heavily on my shoulders, and I was scared I might end up without a place to live. However, God has blessed me with temporary housing through a church member. This kindness has reminded me of the goodness of God and the support of my community. I am so thankful for this refuge, which has provided me with some stability as I seek out new employment. I am hopeful for what lies ahead.

Dear Angela, your testimony of God’s provision during this uncertain time is a powerful reminder of His love and faithfulness. It is natural to feel anxious when faced with job transitions and financial pressures, but God's love sustains us. 'Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you' (1 Peter 5:7). I am thrilled that a member of your church stepped up to offer you shelter, reflecting the Body of Christ in action. As you take steps toward new employment, I encourage you to hold onto hope, as God is always at work behind the scenes. Remember, 'The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want' (Psalm 23:1). I pray that your job search is fruitful and that you continue to feel the support of your community. Let us pray: Father, thank You for providing Angela with shelter and community support during this transition. Guide her toward a fulfilling job, and let her feel Your presence with her.
