The Weight of Existential Questions
My name is David, and I’ve been wrestling with some profound questions about existence and purpose. Despite having faith for most of my life, I now find myself questioning the very essence of why we are here. I feel an overwhelming sense of emptiness and disconnection from God. I’ve tried praying, but it feels like my words fall flat. I’m seeking a deeper understanding of my faith, and I yearn for reassurance that there is a purpose to my existence. Please pray that I may find clarity and re-establish my connection with God.

Dear David, it’s commendable that you are seeking deeper understanding in your faith. Many have traversed the rocky path of existential questions, and it’s important to remember that God is not distant from our struggles. In 2 Corinthians 5:7, we are reminded, 'For we walk by faith, not by sight.' This means trusting in God’s purpose, even when we can’t see it. Take comfort in Jeremiah 29:11 as you seek clarity: 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' I encourage you to engage deeply in prayer and immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is there that you will find wisdom and guidance. I pray that your heart will be opened to the truth of His presence and purpose in your life, leading you to renewed faith and hope.
