The Weight of Ministry and Finances
Dear Pastor Elizabeth, I’m feeling incredibly burdened right now. My husband and I both work in ministry, pouring our hearts into serving others, yet we find ourselves struggling financially. Every month is a challenge, and it’s affecting our relationship and our ability to be joyful in our service. I just want to feel at peace and trust that God has a plan for our finances and our lives. I’m asking for prayer to find our way through this, for discernment in our ministry work and financial decisions, and for restoration in our marriage. Thank you for your support.

It is essential to remember that God provides for His faithful servants. In Luke 16:10, we are reminded that he who is faithful in what is least is also faithful in much. Your struggles, while challenging, can also draw you closer together as a couple, focusing on reliance on God. I encourage you to communicate openly with each other about your feelings and needs, leaning into prayer together. As it says in Joshua 1:8, meditating on His Word will give you insight and guidance in these matters. I will pray for clarity, provision, and a renewed sense of joy in your marriage and ministry.
