The Weight of Secrets in Our Marriage
Hello, I would like to share my struggle seeking prayer. I recently found out that my wife has been hiding her pornography addiction for years. I had no idea, and now I feel utterly betrayed. Our marriage is on the brink, and I fear that this secret has created a chasm between us that we may never cross. I love her, but the trust is gone, and I feel lost and confused. I’m praying for wisdom on how to approach this with her and for healing for both of us. I need prayer to help me find the right words and to remind me that God can redeem even the deepest wounds. Thank you for your prayers.

Grief and Healing Ministry
Dear Joseph, thank you for your openness regarding your situation. It’s so important to acknowledge your feelings and the pain that has come from this revelation. I want to reassure you that God can mend what seems irreparable. Malachi 2:16 reminds us that God hates divorce, and your desire for restoration is commendable. Creating a safe space for both you and your wife to share your feelings is crucial during this time. It’s important to approach her with compassion; remember, love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). As you both seek healing, consider engaging in counseling that focuses on both individual and couple’s recovery. Let’s pray for God’s healing touch and for a renewed commitment to honesty and love in your marriage. May the Lord guide your conversations and lead you both to a place of restoration.
