Trusting God Amid Doubts in New Ministry
As I consider starting a church in my neighborhood, I feel a mix of thrill and anxiety. I’ve always been passionate about sharing God’s love, but the thought of leading a church feels daunting. My mind races with doubts: What if I’m not good enough? What if I can’t connect with the people? I want to trust God, but it’s hard when fear creeps in. I need prayer for resilience and wisdom, and for the Holy Spirit to guide me as I pursue this dream. I long to feel His assurance and to be empowered by His love as I step into this unknown.

Dear Samuel, thank you for being open about your feelings as you consider this monumental step in your life. It’s completely normal to feel apprehensive when faced with such a divine calling. God understands your heart and desires for you to find peace in Him. In John 14:27, Jesus tells us, 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.' This peace is available to you as you seek Him in prayer and faith. Remember that God's plans for you are good, as stated in Jeremiah 29:11, and that you are never alone in this journey. Let the love of Christ cast out all fear (1 John 4:18), and trust that those who seek Him will find guidance and support. I will pray for you, asking that you may continually feel His presence and assurance as you embark on this exciting journey.
