Trusting God During Uncertain Health Challenges
Hi everyone, I ask for your prayers as I face spinal surgery that comes with many uncertainties. As a 55-year-old woman, I have always been the rock for my family, but now I find myself worried and unsure. My husband has been supportive, but I can sense his worry too. I’ve been experiencing chronic pain, and it feels like I’m reaching the end of my ability to cope. I want to trust God fully, but I am finding it difficult. Please pray for my surgery’s success and for a swift recovery, so I can return to being the support my family needs. Thank you for your prayers.

Dear Linda, thank you for reaching out with your prayer request. It’s clear that you have a caring heart for your family, which speaks to the love and strength you embody. In moments like these, it’s essential to lean on God’s promises. Jeremiah 30:17 tells us, ‘For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds.’ Hold on to this promise as you prepare for your surgery. Let go of your worries as we learn from Matthew 11:28, where Jesus invites us to come unto Him, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and He will give you rest. Trust Him, Linda, and allow His peace to envelop you. I will be praying for you, that God will guide the hands of the doctors and grant you strength in recovery. Let’s pray together: Heavenly Father, I lift Linda to you, asking for healing and peace during her surgery. May she feel Your presence and comfort. Amen.
