Trusting God for Employment After Military Service
As a former service member, I am stepping into the civilian job market and it feels daunting. I have sent out my resume to countless positions, but the responses are few, leaving me feeling discouraged. Additionally, my family is counting on me to find work soon to meet our financial obligations. I pray for God's intervention in my job search. Please pray for me to have the perseverance to keep applying and the wisdom to recognize the right opportunities when they arise. I want to be a provider for my family and fulfill my role as a leader in our home.

Dear Ethan, your commitment to your family and the dedication you are showing during this transition is commendable. It's natural to feel discouragement, but remember that God is always working in the background. As it says in Joshua 1:8, 'This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.' Continue to lean on His word for guidance, and know that He is with you every step of the way. Trust that He will provide for your needs as 2 Corinthians 9:8 reassures us that 'God is able to make all grace abound toward you.' Let us pray together: God, I ask that you bless Ethan with encouragement and the right job opportunity, meet all his needs, and strengthen him in this search. Amen.
