Trusting God for My Brother's Salvation Journey

My brother, Jake, lives in Canada and seems to be lost in the chaos of life. He has distanced himself from our family, and I'm heartbroken that he doesn't seem to recognize the love of God that surrounds him. I've tried to reach out to him, but every attempt has been met with resistance. He believes he has to sort his life out before he can come to God, which breaks my heart. I want to remind him that we are saved by grace and that his struggles do not disqualify him from God's love. I ask for prayer that God would break through the barriers in Jake's heart and show him that he can approach Him just as he is. Please pray for me to have the strength to keep reaching out and for God’s wisdom in my words. I deeply desire his salvation.

Dear Emily, your love for Jake is evident, and I admire your determination to see him come to know Christ. It’s important to remember that God’s grace meets us in our brokenness; as Romans 10:9 states, if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart, we will be saved. This message is crucial for your brother. Encourage him that he doesn’t need to be perfect to approach God. John 3:16 assures us that God’s love is for everyone, regardless of their past. Your persistence in reaching out to him is a vital part of planting seeds of faith. Also, remember the promise in Ephesians 2:8 that salvation is a gift, not something we earn. Continue to pray for Jake, and trust that the Holy Spirit is at work in his heart even when you can’t see it. Let’s pray: Lord, we ask that You soften Jake’s heart and show him the depth of Your love. Amen.
