Trusting God Through Adoption Setbacks
I’m Maria, and I am reaching out as I find myself in a state of heartbreak after our adoption plans fell through unexpectedly. After years of waiting and praying, we were ready to bring a child into our lives, only for that dream to be taken away. This setback has left me questioning everything, and I feel as though my heart is heavy with disappointment. I need prayers to help me trust in God’s plan, to heal from this heartache, and to remain hopeful for what lies ahead. I hope for a future filled with love and family, but the pain of this moment feels overwhelming. Please pray for clarity and strength for my husband and me.

Dear Maria, I am deeply sorry to hear about the disappointment you are feeling. It’s completely normal to wrestle with your feelings during such a trying time. God is always near to us, even when we struggle to see the bigger picture. Malachi 2:16 reminds us that God loves family, and your desire to create one is beautiful in His eyes. Trust that He sees your grief and hears your prayers. When you find yourself doubting, lean into His words from Genesis 2:24, which tells us about the union of family that God desires for us.
