Trusting God Through Major Surgery
My name is Jamal, and I am a 32-year-old living with chronic health issues. I am facing a major surgery that has been postponed twice, which has only amplified my anxiety and fear about the outcome. I feel uncertain about the future and how this surgery will affect my life. I know I need to lean on my faith, but it’s hard when the fear feels so real. I ask for prayers to help me find strength and trust in God’s plan. Please pray that I can surrender my worries to Him and find peace in the process as I prepare for this surgery.

Dear Jamal, your honesty in sharing your fears is commendable. Facing surgery can be daunting, especially with the history of postponements weighing on you. I want to encourage you with the truth that God is sovereign over all circumstances. In Philippians 4:7, we are reminded that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. You are not alone in this journey; God is walking with you every step of the way. Trust in His promise from Isaiah 41:10, where He assures us that we need not fear, as He is our God. Remember that even when life seems uncertain, Romans 8:28 holds true: God works all things for good to them that love Him. Let us pray together for your peace and trust: Lord, I lift Jamal to You, asking for Your peace to fill his heart as he approaches surgery. Help him to trust in Your perfect plan for his life, Amen.
