Trusting God While Learning New Skills Late in Life
As a 54-year-old, I’ve found myself in a position where I need to completely change my career after my job in retail was eliminated. The thought of going back to school is daunting, and I struggle with self-doubt. I often question whether it's too late for me to learn new skills and adapt. My family is supportive, but I can see their concern about my future. Please pray that I can embrace this change with faith, find the right programs that will help me grow, and, most importantly, trust that God has a purpose for me in this new chapter of my life.

Dear Isaac, it's never too late to embrace growth and new beginnings. Remember, God is the one who gives us the ability to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18). Your willingness to learn is a testament to your courage and faith. As you step out in trust, know that God is with you and will guide you every step of the way. Philippians 4:13 assures us that 'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.' Don’t let fear dictate your path; instead, place your trust in Him. Surround yourself with encouraging individuals who can uplift you as you learn. Let us pray together for your journey, that God will give you clarity in your choices and confidence as you step into the new skills that await you.
