Waiting for God’s Perfect Timing in Employment
I’ve recently left my military post, and while I am excited about new possibilities, I find myself growing impatient as I search for a job. I’ve applied to numerous positions, but nothing has panned out yet. It’s disheartening, and I am starting to doubt whether I’ll find the right fit. I crave a sense of fulfillment in my work, but I know that this journey requires patience. I ask for prayers that I may find peace in waiting and trust in God’s timing as I seek a new job.

Dear Sophia, waiting can indeed be one of the hardest challenges we face. But know that your wait is not in vain. James 1:4 encourages us to let patience have its perfect work, that we may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. In this waiting period, God is preparing both you and the opportunity He has in store for you. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28 — that all things work together for good to those who love Him. Continue to seek Him, trusting that He knows your heart. I will pray that patience fills you during this time and that you will find peace in His perfect timing.
