Watching My Brother’s Marriage Fall Apart
My brother’s marriage is crumbling, and there’s little I can do. They were once so in love, but now it feels like they're two strangers living in the same house. It's heartbreaking to see the pain they both endure. I’ve tried reaching out to my brother, but he often shuts me out. I worry about the impact this will have on his mental health and their children. I pray for clarity and healing for them, for guidance to help them find their way back to each other. Please pray for restoration in their marriage and for the strength to face whatever comes next.

Dear Rachel, I can feel the weight of your heartache as you watch your brother go through such a difficult time. It’s natural to want to step in and help, especially when you see loved ones in pain. The situation is delicate, but God is always ready to provide healing and reconciliation. In Joel 2:25, it says, 'And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten,' reminding us of God’s promise to restore what seems lost. Encourage your brother and his wife to seek counseling and lean on God’s guidance. Sometimes, they may need a neutral party to mediate their conversations. Let them understand the importance of commitment in marriage, as stated in Ephesians 4:2-3, where we are urged to 'with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.' I will be praying for clarity, healing, and restoration in their hearts, and for you to have the wisdom to be a source of support. Trust in God’s grace during this time. Amen.
