Wrestling with Doubts About My Mother's Faith Journey
As my mother’s health declines, I find myself wrestling with doubts about her faith journey. She has always been a good person, but she has never embraced Christ personally. I remember her telling me that she believes in God but has never taken that step to accept Jesus as her Savior. I am fearful that she may not find eternal peace. I pray daily for her, but the weight of uncertainty is heavy on my heart. I ask for prayer that she may come to know the Lord deeply and personally in these final days. I long for her to experience the assurance of salvation.

Dear Lila, your heart’s desire for your mother to know Christ is a beautiful reflection of your love for her. It’s understandable to feel uncertainty in such a challenging time, but remember that our God is full of grace and mercy. Romans 3:23 reminds us that 'all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God,' yet the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). Your mother’s goodness is commendable, but it is faith in Jesus alone that brings salvation (Acts 4:12). Continue to pray for her, speaking of God’s love and grace, as He desires to reveal Himself to her. Trust that every prayer you lift up is heard by God, who desires all to come to Him. I will pray alongside you for your mother’s heart to be opened to receive Christ, and may you find peace in God’s loving presence during this difficult time.
